About us
Producthero is a rapidly growing SaaS scale-up based in Amsterdam. Our clients include Rituals, Bol, Wehkamp, and Ikea. Over the past five years, we have evolved into an internationally operating shopping advertisement platform with more than 12,000 clients across all European countries. From our office in Amsterdam, our team of 45+ enthusiastic heroes and a growing team of office dogs create an outstanding platform to help webshops and online marketing agencies improve the performance of their product ads on Google.
About the role
As an Engineering Manager, you play a key role in guiding and growing our engineering team, driving the engineering strategy and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will be leading a team of 10-15 team members (divided over 3 sub-teams) and report directly to the CTO. Collaboration is central in your role, as you work closely with the Product Owner, Tech Leads, the leadership team and other stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business goals. You coach the team with their projects and ensure a collaborative and safe work environment.
This role focuses more on your capabilities as a people manager than the depth of your knowledge in tools and technology.

You promote a culture of open communication and transparency within the team and across departments, and lead by example.
